More finds!

Yesterday in London after doing a survey along the Kings Road i popped over to Camden and from Record Exchange got John Zorn "Filmworks VI" for £6 on Tzadik CD and Can "Landed" (Mute SACD hybrid) for £7 - the recently digital remix in the new SACD qaulity gold coloured discs whcih you can play on normal CD players. Excellent sound quality too!! Normally £12 or more in the mainstream shops like HMV ,Virgin or even Resident.

Today from the market near the station picked up two pristine condtion blues and soul long players. Sam Cook and the Soul Stirrrers "In The beginning" on Ace and Johhny Coeland "Down On Bending Knees" (Mr.R&B) both for £4 each.
The guy there had plenty more i would have loved to buy - just lack of money prevented me from doing so today. Kulo was ther too and he bought 8 of them!!!

Listening to Johnny Copeland as i write this. Lovely old blues stuff.

Picked up a graphic novel as well for £3 from David's Books ,as the graphics and feel of it plus the type of story took my eye and caught me by the curlies. "Pubo" by Leland Purvis" on Dark Horse Books. I will review it as soon as i finished reading it.
