Give me money!
Oct. 5th, 2005 10:05 pmSometimes there are things we want but cannot afford and lack of money is the problem - then i am reminded that if i had won a thousand pounds the situation would be the same - perhaps a million om a lottery win would help.
Anyway i did buy an Ennio Morricone double CD "Crime And Dissonance" recently released on Ipecac from Resident for £12 - all rarer film compositions not the usual spaghetti western ones.
I bought two of Stephen's little zine items from the bookstore he works at.
We had guite a long chat about our first music when we were growing up and what influenced us like early John Peel radio shows. Itis interesting to note that we both started with pop got into reggae and veered off the mainstream route into more esoteric byways.
These byways are all things odd, a dash of improv, some early electronica, folk and world muisc, salsa and other things.
Afterwards saw Kulo in the library looking for work in the local newspapers. Good luck to him.
