Today i did the Camden Council street drinkers count in the Kentish Town end of the borough and whilst walking down the high street saw a few charity shops. So naturally i looked inside.

From Oxfam 3 cd's -
Liz Phair "Whitechocolatespaceegg" (Matador 1998) £2 , John Butcher,Phil Durrant and John Russell "The Scenic Route" (Emanem 1999) for £2 as well, and "Cocktail Mix Vol.4 Soundtracks With A Twist" Various (Rhino 1996) for £1.50. The latter has tracks by Henry Mancini,Lalo Schifrin,Michel Legrand,John Barry,Alex North,Nelson Riddle,Ennio Morricone and more.

From the PDSA charity shop the Jackie Brown soundtrack CD (Maverick 1997) for £1.

As usual with this job i had 2 hour breaks between each two hour observation so in one of the breaks i took a short tube ride up to Highgate to Sound 323 and spent a bit more cash.

2 Cd's this time, a book with one CD and a book with 2 CD's.
The two CD's are "Spellings" Frisque Concordance (Random Acoustics 1993) £5 and "foldings" by Akiyama/Nakamura/Sugimoto/Wastell (Confront 2002) for £5.

Next up is "Sound art - A Resonance Supplement" a long slenderish book with a Cd with tracks by Michael J Schumacher,Brendon LaBelle and others for £%.

Finally the most expensive was "Improvised Music From Japan Extra" with 2 CD's inside the book which was £15.
But as i rarely visit Sound 323 it was worth splashing out a bit more today.

On the way back saw another charity shop and picked up a CD called "Puch The Guy" a collection of Japanese soundtrack music selected by K- aro Takanami (Polystar Japan 1995) for £.2.50.

Homme very late of course and soon to bed.
