Just a quick mention of my new community site which delves into the weird basement bins of oddball and avant music in which i will review and rave over stuff that people should know about, such as DJ Ordeal,Vitamin B12,Jandek,Lonesome Organist, and so on. Just done a wlecome statement. Start the real reviewing over the weekend. Anyway it's called WEIRDSOUNDZ,just click my links panel on the right hand side.

Right - enough is enough - off to bed!

You know,my diary is still very empty and i am certainly not rushed with work. It is still unusually quiet, and speaking to both Jill and EB this morning seems to confirm it. However i did make one useful new contact with Ruth Eagers who deals with both MSTS and QRS - two companies i have worked for,so maybe something will turn up Will phone other people as well.

GC will be on holiday for awhile but when she gets back we will pour over the Qualtative Research handbook and see what work is out there. I only hope that this is a minor blip, but i said the same for June - well we will see. So meanwhile i need lots of stuff selling on the stall which i have put out - some items have not budged for weeks on end. Might do a reduction on prices to move things along, but only on some items.

C'est la vie.

You know , when i thought things were bad, a phone call out of the blue today has filled quite a lot of August days full of work, and some more in-store jobs. It could be the end of the nadir.

I had to replace the cordless keyboard and mouse as it was playing up and deciding not to work and the mouse was notcharging in its recepticle. So looked for the cheapest corded combination. Not using cordles agian. Too much hassle with all those charging sessions and replacing batteries in the keyboard.Anyway the new one came to £15 which is quite cheap and does everything i need.

Keep it simple i say.

Working in Hove on Monday at a Lloys pharmacy for Val Chalk, from JRA,a cxompany who have been very very quiet of late. I think i will just have to be on more company books to keep things going. You know what will happen next. suddenly 5 of them will want jobs on the same day or couple of days, and then i would have to turn some down. it is called SODS LAW in the trade.

Well, they say things go in circles. Had a text from Stephen on my mobile. He bought my BBC Radiophonics Workshop Lp that i picked up from Sunday's boot fair for 50p, which i put on the stall for £3 or £4 i think. It was a bit crackly but played fine and i transferred the tracks i wanted to a mini disc before putting it on the stall. As he said in his email "a stop gap ... nice to hear".

This is Tiggy relaxing with a nice breeze coming in from the bay windows.
