Well back in Chichester again today for the South and South East Tourism Board on a really nice survey inside the Information centre there. About five hours of a generally relaxed job with locals and tourists.

Popped into one of the charity shops and bought another 50p paperback for the stall.

Got back to Brighton in time to check the stall, and found that some nut had moved my Iggy Pop photo book behind the Lp rack section, and consequently not sold because nobody had notice it. So i quickly put the book back in a prominant postion. Selling it for £6 but only picked it for £1 from Sandpiper Books.

Had a look around Fopp and bought a book "Sedition and Alchemy,A Biography of John Cale" by Tim mitchell (Peter Owen Publishers 2003) for only $3,which will complement my copy of John Cale's own autobiography "What's Welsh For Zen". He is a seminal figure in rock music and supplied the cutting edge violin screech of The Velvet Underground's early albums.

There was a great article in the Guardian on Friday by Julian Cope about the new forms of heavy metal being at the heart of today's rock avant-garde,which i only got round to reading today.

http://arts.guardian.co.uk/features/story/0,,1852426,00.html

Article features some of my favourie artists, particularly Acid Mothers Temple,Ben Chasny's Six Orders of Admittance and Comets On Fire.
