Famouus Squirrell
Aug. 22nd, 2006 05:24 pmFinished the Somerfield job in London Road on nuts, seeds and dried fruit. It was like waiting for paint to dry though. Few people looking at nuts, seeds and dried fruit today you see.Quite a slow day indeed!!
Picked up some more books in London Rd. charity shops for the stall. Irving Welsh "Pigs", Umberto Eco "Travels in Hyperreality" , Italo Calvino "Adam,One Afternoon", and one on The Clash.
Stall holders meeting tomorrow at The Basketmakers (usual venue) at 6.30 pm - just hope i did well. Discolator is still unsold.
Heard from one of the Snoopers people the furry squirrell soft toy from GC is now going to be famous as part of the Southwick Players production of John Osbourne's "Look Back In Anger" simply because one of the people in the play is nicknamed Squirrell. They will mention us at stall 33 in the leaflet of the play given out to the audience.
Strange world. Must try and get to see the play now that my squirrell is famous
The dog food came today and the concepts tomorrow. Should have started Monday but now will be from Thursday, and collection of self-completions by the 30th. So had a cancellation fee of £90 for the delay, yippee!!
