Day of Inertia
Oct. 11th, 2006 06:49 pmYesterday in Peacehaven doing a survey on recycling - quite an easy job too. Finished early.
Didn't feel like doing any work today,a bit of a headache anyway to start with, and felt a bit guilty not doing any work - but then i have worked quite hard of late and deserve a break.
Back on Ebay after a three month or more abstinance. I just let the account go into frozen mode, but with Xmas coming decided the time is ripe to sell stuff on it again.
Had a look at the Rough Trade book by Rob Young again - this time in Borders as they had an unsealed copy which you could peruse. Definitely will want this one.
I still visit Rough Trade both in Notting Hill and Soho when i get the chance, and sometimes have picked up a bargain in their occassional sales.
Picked up from Fopp the Rough Guide To Cult Pop for only $3 and hence cheap as chips.
Saw Rowan in Kensington Gdns today after seeing Stephen at the bookshop, and Kulo popped into the shop as well for awhileAlso, Hassini came in with his parents, whom made a fuss of Simeon.Simeon, the bookshop cat, took centre stage as usual, and trying to be invisible in pouching mode upon a pigeon near the shop door that got too close for comfort.
Anne WN didn't get much back from Oxford Research and they treated her very badly,so in response i will not accept any further jobs from the cheapskate company. OK so i will loose those juicy rail jobs but hen that is the sacirfice i am proud to make in solidarity.May others follow suit - that way they will get the message!
Sorting out some stuff for either selling on Ebay or going down to the stall. So it's a pruning process again but at a half-interested pace. Just feeling lethargic i suppose.
Ambivalence rules! Yes no maybe?
