Well, despite the fact the weather threatening to be crap i was dry inside the Orange shop at Worthing today after picking up my cheque from Peter Baker for the washing powder job. £175 will do nicely. EB came about midday and we had a coffee at Nero's.

Got back to Brighton and from Borderline bought Four Tet's "Everything Ecstatic part2" (Domino LP) in their sale for £5.

Decided to have a Rune Grammofon playlist weekend - comimg soon - everything from Supersilent to Spunk, Arne Nordheim to Alog and the wonderful voice of Maja Ratkje.

I also like Kim Hiorthøy's art and graphic designs for the labels look which defines the labels's minimalist stance aesthetically, with the surprising universe of sounds contained within each release.
I also recommend the book "Money Will Ruin Everthing" which looks at the label's 30 albums up to the date of the book being printed, with interviews with key players on the label.Contained within the inner covers of the book are 2 CD's which traverse the sonic teritory this label has become famous for. Much prefer it to ECM - and that's a fact.
