Today a visit to Ryde to do a very short survey about Dungeness and the wind farm at Romney Marshes. Sixteen 3 minute surveys per quota. Did all four quotas in one day (however i did start at 9am and finshed at 6pm) which comes to £200 plus all the expenses of travelling from Brighton and hence made for a very productive and lucrative day.
Yesterday in London i was doing the magazine survey (very final day thank goodness) and popped into the usual emporium at Notting Hill and picked up two CD's from an exchange of old Sight and Sound magazines and a few books. They were Tom Verlaine "Around" (Thrill Jockey) ,an instrumental follow up to the re-released "Warm and Cool", and Subtle "For Hero For Fool" (Lex).
So very very busy and somewhat behing with completing these surveys for Plus 4 in Crawley, and still got to get to EMS to do that briefing and pick up the laptop for the car survey, and where will i get the time. Oh well, make the most of it i say in case leaner times come again.
Don't know when i will be able to see Mike to give him that Rolling Stone magazine he wanted.
