Fed up and so fed up with the EMS car survey with a heavy laptop that i shall retunr everything back to them and say ney! for next month (unless they invest in light hand held PDA's. I  hate it ,hate it ! Will send said laptop back to them and cancel any dealings until they give us a light hand-held PDA. Anyway really do not fancy doing car surveys month in month out for the next 2 years. Why did i bother in the first place? Prefer pen and paper unless it is a small easy to carry lightwieight PDA.  A PDA gives you more freedom and not an aching arm or shoulder.

Anyway slightly euphoric from beer drunk at lunch time but naughty me for doing so! So what?

Picked up a great double LP by Ornette Coleman today , "In All Languages" ( Caravan of Dreams LP 1987) at a stonking £4, and a Lounge Lizards LP called "Big Heart" (Island 1986)  plus now up to volume 5 in the great Stax/Volt singles collection.,which just means four volumes to go.  Anyway, this double LP from Ornette is a revelation. A very underrated LP by any means!!

A lovely day but think i will have to travel to Bexhill on the Friday as now it's a bit late to go. It's only a  RUSS survey for Quality Fieldwork from Susan Schofield. I might even squeeze it into tomorrow as from 2pm i am doing that Tesco Express outlet in Brighton,so just go for shoppers  that live locally normally. The reason is that it is attached to a petrol station and most car people will not stop to do a survey FULL STOP.

Freedom rings, and after some surveys i have done i need the freedom.

Picked up two Boredoms releases via Very Friendly Records , "Super Roots 7" and "Super Roots 8" and reviewed in the current WIRE magazine. Also picked up Lee Ranaldo's "Road Movies"  (Soft Skull Press) book for a cheap £4 with photographs by Leah Singer, plus the latest Record Collector magazine (one which i get very infrequently).

My cousin Tim has started a computer course today. I wonder how he has got on?Oh and here is alink to George's record shop near the station but the person who was designing his website has not completed it. Oh well.
