Ashford Visit
May. 17th, 2007 06:23 pmA good day today in Ashford,Kent doing a survey for Outlook. Whilst in the town had lunch ar Weatherspoons, and picked up some cheap vinyl from various charity shops ; another copy of the London Cast of "Hair" (Readers Digest/ Polydor LP) for 50 pence, Rose Royce "Strikes Again" (Whitfield Records) for £1 and two Tom Jones classic Decca albums (which I already have) picked up for £2 each, and are near mint, thus I colud get alot more for them on resale. Cunning really.
Arrived back late from London last night , since i didn't leave Brighton til 3pm and visited my favourite Notting Hill emporium and made £45 to respend on good stuff, but kept back £20 for a later visit. Picked up four CD packages as follows -
"The Complete 10 Inch Series From Cold Blue" Various Artists (Cold Blue 3xCD)
"Improvised Music From Japan 2005" (Improvised Music From Japan 2xCD + book)
"Ghostman On First" by Currituck Co. (Track and Field CD)
Hal Russel's Chemical Feast "Elixir 1979" (Atavistic Unherad Music Series CD)
Driest day so far, and perhaps the weather will improve as we nearly get to the end of May.
