London Visit
Jun. 17th, 2007 02:39 pmBack in London again on Saturday doing that hotel survey in the street - but did afterwards detour to both In Intoxica! and the Notting Hill exchanges shops
Didn't get much in exchange at the latter but picked up a Latin LP by Machito, and two CD's from there , the soundtrack to "The Italian Job" (starring Michael Cain) (MCA) and the unreleased soundtrack music to "Dawn Of The Dead" (Trunk Records).
From Intoxica! two LP's "Easy Tempo Vol.2 - The Psycho Beat" (Right Tempo) and Nico Fidenco's "Black Emanuelle's Groove" (Dagored).Italian groovy music on both albums. As the Movie Grooves website says about the latter
"More on the porn side than it's French counterpart, Director Joe D'Amato knocked out a series of cool Emmanuelle (notice the spelling change to avoid copyright infringement) rip-offs starring the gorgeous Laura Gemser in the title role. Nico Fidenco was brought on board to score these movies and composed some incredibly sleazy and sexy sounds to accompany the on-screen action"
