Drill Me Awake
Jul. 30th, 2007 08:51 amWoken up by a pneumatic drill in our road (again). The roadmen are digging up the road weeks after they dug it up previously and filled the holes in. They have been here on and off for weeks now.
Last night a mystery shop at The Stanley Casiono Brighton for TNS,and I have one this evening in London.
A few LP's from The Heart Foundation charity shop in London Road yesterday afternoon, where you could buy three for a pound.
They were -
Manfred Mann's Earth Band - The Good Earth (Bronze)
Various - By Invitation Only (Atlantic) - a stonking double LP collection selected by Alan Freeman, featuring Yes,Steohen Stills, Led Zeppelin and others, mostly all good stuff.
Glen Campbell - Greatest Hits (Capitol)
Willie Hutch - Foxy Brown (Motown) - a superb funky soundtrack
Dionne Warwick - From Within Vol.2 (Wand)
Alicia Bridges - Alicia Bridges (Polydor)
Two pounds for the lot. Cheaper than a pint of beer (usually).
