The Dark Is Rising
Oct. 23rd, 2007 09:43 am Sunday we saw a film at the Odeon courtesy of mystery shopping company Market Checker. We saw the fantasy film "The Dark is Rising" featuring Christopher Eccleston (the former Dr.Who). A good film that is aimed at the family as it is based on a book writen by Susan Cooper, a children's fantasy novvel author.
By the way, Christopher Eccleston, who has now moved to the States, also appeared in a few episodes of "Heores" as the invisible man.His character in "Heroes" is Claude Rains (and the said Claude Rains was the actor who played the original Invisible Man of the 1933 movie with that name).
Yesterday finished off a survey on drink awareness for SFP and went to Ricki Tick,s an internet cafe bar for the first time in Bond Street as it was on the list of bars to visit along with The Mash Tun and The Black Lion Inn.
Just oe LP from Borderline - a reissue of obscure prog-rock from Pesky Gee! "Exclamation Mark" (Earmark) who eventually morphed in heavy rock band Black Widow.
