Oops! Another job to be done quickly and its coming out of my ears at the momemt - so much work around - some good some bad. Not complaining too much though. The Habitat job arrived this morning starting tomorrow and three other in-store days as well from my favourite company Outlook, who pay quickly and i mean quickly!!

Need to have one full ay in London and explore some North London shops and chazzers which been highlighted the VV forums, so perhaps December would be best for that unless i can get one day off this month for the trip.!

Loads pf paperworlk again this morning but hope to see a free film later today!

Four fine albums today from chazzers and the Jam! emporium this morning -

Melanie - Candles In The Rain (Buddah 1970)  af ine femme-folk album with a couple of great grrovy numbers.
Johnny Raducanu - Jazz Made in Romania (Electrecord 1984)  - a real find, great Europena jazz from former Soviet satlellite country.
Bob James - Three (CT I 1976) - third outing before he departed the label with the superb "Westchester Lady" track.
Seatrain - Seatrain (Capitol 1971) - from country rock to a nice groover in "Song of Job",and this LP is not  normally an easy one  to find , Infact  I am very fond of this old record. A nice fusion of country, blues, and psych rock. Imagine the Blues Project with a fiddle player.

So a bit chuffed getting this little lot,esp the jazz LP, as i think we will see more eastern jazz turn up now.
Compiling weekend playlist as you read this with 9 out of ten people wantng my charts back!

Dug out my old copy of Maggie Bell's "Queen of The Night" LP (Polydor) and now i have seen an Atlantic lable version of it (i guess released in America), thus what i would like to know is,.what's the deal with all the pressings, by the way? Polydor, Atlantic...and now a £15 reissue/boot on Akama in Selectadisc,Borderline, etc as well. Sounded good earlier, though, in a kind of country soul, sometimes funky kind of vein.
