Pret

Received two five pound Pret vouchers in the post this morning for the two Prets i did in London earlier this month. Used one already at the North street Pret A Manger. Ha d a nice latte and a Spicy Falafel Melt. Took my curent edition of Icon's "Media Studies" book to read. Getting to grips with semiology again.

Popped into Waterstones to see what books related to music they had in,and seen a few i would like to get at some stage,including another on Sound Art,and the new edition of Grail Marcus's "Lipstick Traces".

The Suzuki car survey arived this morning. Three to four cars to find,but I wonder will it be more difficult than expected to find them. Oh well we can but try.

Annan Water

 Downloaded a track from VG+ "Annan Water" by Nic Jones ,played it, and then recognised it as i already have this track on "Never The Same" (Honest Jons CD).It is from his album "Ballads and Songs" and is a long beautiful (7 minute) folk song in the real tradition of a guy and guitar only mode. Now I want to get the original album on vinyl of course.
