Good Deed

Another day of lugging around a laptop PC for the purpose of a telecomms survey. 

This time it was anyone sixty or above agewise,and one mature lady asked if i could help her out with her new Freeview box for her telly. She said she had three people,including the landlord from the Hand In Hand pub, to help her get it set up. None of them could. So being a bit of a techy geek i said i would give it a go and, hey presto, ten minutes later got it working and flicking through the channels and explaining how to use it. So my good deed for the day has been done.

A simple case of making sure the AV channel mode is set on the TV and then selecting what station you want.
Everything else had been set previously but she was getting a blank screen since nobody had realised you need to select the AV mode.

Anyway she was well chufffed
