This morning with the sun baking down took off to the boot fair at the station early and glad i did. Since finding a minty original copy of a Topic Shirley Collins album was the best find of the day and the geezer only wanted a fiver for it!!

Also a Bert Janch sampler on Transatlantic for a couple of quid, and the rest fifty pence each, including the classic Lindisfarne album. well i had to pick that one as i am going to Newcastle this coming bank holiday.

Finding an Andre Brasseur VV classic isn't so easy these days but got this one for fifty pence and enjoying The Ian Campbell Folk Group LP on MFP as well. Nice Baz Fe Jazz compilation of jazzy tunes for two quid from this bunch.

All the others here were fifty pence again.

Motto: It does pay to get up early some days.

Well i have done it - set up a new community site after saying that i wouldn't after disbanding the old Weirdsoundz one.

I could not do without a community site. Musically not dissimilar from the old one but with a wider focus, mainstram and non mainstream from world music to folk, jazz to exotica and all points in between. new mwmbers are welcomed to join. Perhaps this time i will get regular contributors. Link to the site on the left hand column as always in my link list.
