 TECHNIC TURNTABLES ARE THE BEAST!
Thanks to Carlitos i now have my other Technics deck which already had an Ortofon Concorde cartridege on it already,and the two together look magnificent. Got the other deck for £150 - still lots cheaper than getting these new. Like people who love their cars i love my

Both are SL 1210 mark II models.

 This weekend has produced some interesting finds again. Most from the outdoor street market and some chazzers,plus a few reissues from a record shop. Another mixed bag of stuff so like a Pollock painting i have scattered them across the settee and in a Man Ray style snapped them. (you what? )

Antonio Carlos Jobim & Luiz Bonfa - Orfeu da Conceicao e Outras Historias (Get Back) - reissue
Gal Cosat & Catano Velloso - Domingo (Vinyl Lovers) - reissue
Eric Dolphy - Conversations (Get Back) - reiissue of classic jazz LP
Georgie Fame - Bonnie and Clyde (Embassy) - with "Somebody Stole My Thunder"
Sly and The Family Stone - Back On The Track (Warner Bros)
Mannfred Mann - Mannerisms (Philips)


These were between 50p to a quid except for the reissues which were a fiver each from Borderline Records
plus in the post some freebies from Ben including -

Gunter Kallman Chorus - Once In Each Life (Polydor) - quite nice too!
Leah Owen - Leah(Sain) - still need to listen to this in full. Sounds OK ,diolch yn fawr
Melanie - Stoneground Words (Neighbourhood)

plus a Don Burrows and Mike Morton Congretgation LP too.

Maria Muldaur - Waitress In A Doughnut Shop ((Reprise)

These were a quid each from a charity shop.

Trini Lopez - The Second Latin Album (Reprise) - this one was got midweek from Fine iRecords n Hove

All these except for the Jimmy Smith (which was a fiver from Borderline) were a quid each. The double Winwood LP was two quid.
