These albums were found over the weekend and the previous one. A couple of nice prestige originals too!

Quincy Jones - Papa's Got A brand New Bag (Mercury)
Another fine Quincy collection

Tom Jones - What's New Pussycat? (Parrot)
Surprisingly a really good album. Didn't know it existed before.

George Benson - Take Five (CTI)
Another fine album but yet to find a dud on this label yet!

Etta Jones - Hollar! (Pretige)
Top find of the day with a killer version of "Nature Boy"

Tony Osbourne - Lennon and McCartney Go latin (Rediffusion)
One i have not found anywhere but at Sunday's boot fair saw a copy so had it get it for 50p now didn't i?

Roy Budd - The Sound Of Music (Pye)
Really nice lounge jazz version of famous musical which i seen for ten quid or more but only a quid from the boot sale.

Rupert and The Firebird (MFP)
another cheapie from the market and only worth it for "Go in The Sky"

The ChiLites - For God's Sake Give More Power To The People ((MCA)
I had this Lp in the early 70s then sold it but glad to be reuinited with it for a quid.

The Johnny Otis Show - Into The Eighties (Charly)
Just needle dropped this but it sounds okay without setting the world on fire.

Kid Creole and The Coconuts - Wise Guy (Sire)
August Darnell's penultimate album i presume.

Stevie Wonder - Innervisions (Motown)
A mint up from a well worn coopy

Kool and The Gang - Music Is The Message (De-Lite)
Quite amazed to find this in an Oxfam for only two quid.

Hot Hits (MFP)
The one with good versions of "Vehicle" and "Groovin' With Mr.Bloe". A VV classic.

Johnny Sayles - Man On The Inside (Dakar)
A reissue of Chicago soul funk bought cheap.

KPM Soundclash (Mono Records)
Great compilation of library funk

The Mohawks - The Champ (Pama)
Another cheap reissue of 70;s brit funk

Etta Jones - Love Shout (Pretige)
Wow.. the second original Prestige find and as good as the other by her.

Joe Thomas - Make Your Move (TK Records)
Late 70s disco soul and not bad either

Jean-Luc ponty - Aurora (Atlantic)
Terrific jazz fusion from the violiinst and the first i have by him. Any other recommendations folks?

Joimi Hendrix - Stone Free (Polydor)
Cheapo colection of some of Jimi's finest moments.

Mouse On Mars - Niun Niggung ((Domino)
I had this on CD so it is nice to find a mint vinyl version cheap

.Dionne Warwick - Very Dionne (Wand)
A nice album with one really great track "Walk The Way You Talk" being just so sublime.

plus one 45 -

Slick - Space Bass (Fantasy) for 25p from the Mind chazzer.

And finally -

Today bought the latest Bonnie Price Billy album "Lie Down In The Light" (Domino) as it was going for £6 in a real record shop sale, and is the fourth i have by him. Another understated and yet totally engaging album.
