The LP has a different cover to the NMC reissue CD

A fantastic piece of avant-garde vocal music treated electronically. There is more info about the composer here -

Pink Floyd " The Piper At The gates Of Dawn" (EMI CD)

Floyd's first albumof psychedelia with the strange lyrics of Syd Barrett to the fore.

Well the usual suspects were at the FTLC at La Tasca today - GC,Lesley and me with guest Dave Bennett (Mr. Bitter). Tony is on holiday and no sign of my brother (yet again). Good food and convivial friendship on the whole excluding Mr.Bitter.

Picked up a single for 50 pence today -

Atomic Rooster "The Devil's Answer" (B&C)

A great single with the funky prog groove of  "The Rock" on the flip. Destined to go on a Prognosis night.

A pint at the Evening Star later, after distributing my posters for my DJ gig at The Northern Lights on the 13th of this month.
