For some reason i have been listening to some more sadder material which i find strangely uplifting in a quirky way.

Gorgious late night jazz and sombre in place but just oh so right for melancholic moods.

Beer and Neutrons

I have gone all neutronic after reading a connection between a heavy metal band,an Egyptian God and particle physics,and having a few beers at the Evening Star beer festival,which included Critical Mass - the pub has gone nuclear!

YeAh,some of those beers are cosmic big bangs.

At the start of the EVENING STAR BEER FESTIVAL today i had the following halves of cosmic debris -


Wickham Station Porter (6.1 % ABV)
Ellands 1872 Porter (6.5% ABV)
Exmoor Beast (6.6 % ABV)

Three strong full flavoured beers for an extended lunch period. . Rick came in too and had a pint of the old 1872 Porter.  Total ale meltodwn stuff!
