..and More Things
Feb. 17th, 2009 02:38 pmAnother CD sold on Discogs - that soviet jazz compilation - eight CDs of it for £92 to a guy in Estonia. So i have now transferred ninety quid to my bank account from Paypal. Added some more items to the sale list as well.
Currently just finished a pint in the Evening Star and a tasty brie baguette with salad.
Mike Lacey,Dave Jarrett and a few others are at the bar as i type and quaffing a lovely Dark Star American Pale Ale (4.7 % ABV).
An email from Paul Curtis today inviting me to another counting job in Brighton for next week.
Two PRS visits this Thursday and Friday - Providence and The Casablanca Club and then Brillo of course.
Right, must pop the post office now..and post that box set.

How Sweet!
Feb. 17th, 2009 08:15 pmNew LP bought today for a fiver from Borderline after hearing it at Sunday's Prognosis DJ session -
Sweetwater - Sweetwater (Reprise)
Oh yes! This is the psychedelic sound!
This album is great, really great. This reissue is a great way to re-discover those old psych classics... It comes on an high quality 180 grams pressing, and it plays really good.
Sweetwater sounds a bit like the Jefferson Airplane, so if you like J. A. you'll love this record too. "What's Wrong" and "Motherless Child" are real psych masterpieces, and I'm sure this record will leave you really pleased!
