The PC is back loaded with Norton's Antivirus 2009 and i can get on the net but it seems awfully slow. Might need to contact Virgin again tomorrow or ,as the computer geeks that fixed it, said to me that all my registers are up the swanny with all the loading on and deleting of programs since i first had this desk PC - five years now i guess - that i may have to re-install the whole of Windows again to take it back to base settings. This means transferring all important files to the secondary hard drive before i do this. Drastic perhaps - but it may have to be done.
Alternatively use a different OS such as a Linux based OS such as Firefox. The mozella one seems to get the thumbs up from people who have used it. It seems to be securer and can be run live direct from an installed CD.
I shall let you know what happens.
Meanwhile more sales on Discogs and is keeping me generally busy.
