Gig Update

Damn boot fair which use to be at the station car park most Sundays is now at The Marina , which is miles away, and requires a return bus fair that would otherwise snag you three albums. So now it has to BHASVIC for me,which is still in walking distance,and sometimes has good bargains. Lots of vinyl LP's this morning for a quid but none that enticed me except for a Sandy Posey "Very Best of" album (MGM) .which might contain a good beaty number for the DJing sessions.

Very tired last night after going to Northern Lights on Friday (for the DJ gig with Ville) and watching Finland beat Norway 5-0 on the ice hockey down there Saturday.So i was listening to a CD in bed at 9pm with the mobile in my jacket downstairs. Not hearing it ring at 9.45pm and only noticed the missed call this morning. It was from Ollie at the Hampton Arms desperate for a DJ as one let him down and he was frantically finding  a replacement. Drat! I could have earned thirty quid for last night if only i had the phone next to me!

I popped into the Hampton today and got a spot on Friday 15th May (my birthday) between 7 - 9pm when Phil and  a colleague come on to do their spot. The Quadrant is awash with festival  stuff in May so my next gig there won't be til Jume!

Anyway here is the current update -

Friday 8th May  Hampton Arms  9pm - 1 am
Friday 15th  May  Hampton Arms  7 - 9 pm
Thursday 21st May Mrs Fitzherberts 9pm - 1 am

plus the usual 7 Inch Sundays at the Hampton Arms.
