Had some lovely creamy Dolcelatte with fresh malted bread this morning with my cuppa. It went down a treat but usually i would have a good red wine to go with it. Other cheeses i enjoy are Blue Stilton, a very mature Brie and those speciality English cheeses. The Wensleydale and the Red Leicester being fond favorites together with the chilli flavoured ones.

Yestsrday it was a cheap cooked breakfast at BHS, so it made a welcomed difference, and i shall check out the specialist cheese counter again for some cheesy delights (VG+ classics notwithstanding, ahem).

Another lovely sunny day it has been this morning and managed to do some sunbathing after a visit to M&S in their 125 years celebration. Got some socks,a mug, jewellry, tea towel and leather suitcase address holder all a penny each with donations going to the Martlets Hospice.

Did Mrs Fitzherberts last night. Waste of time really as most punters were outside all night long and only got £3 from a £30 upstairs bar total. I have decided, as i did give it a second chance, i am not doing this venue again unless it's winter or pissing down with rain, and people are inside buying booze.

So i shall keep to the bars i do get a standard fee - Hampton, Quadrant, and Northern Lights - and not where you get 10% of the bar bill. Screw that scenario.

It's official - i am no longer doing PRS and doing clubs i hate and detest or being abused by bands or pub landlords thinking that we are are the PRS license fee or tax police!  Also as GC has informed me Maritz have dropped the fees by 5%. That is totally not right. Plus, that memo about not dancing or enjoying yourself whilst visiting was another nail in the coffin of doing this job. Some i will miss , like the Funky Fish Club, but others i do not miss at all ,especially those clubs with crap boomng thump thump music. PRS do a good service, and i not nocking Feargal Sharkey's organisation,  but some of the places you have to visit are downright dives.

Let other fools do it on less pay and fees.

Well that is my last word on PRS ...

Time seems to have flown by again with little done. Oh c'est la vie!

I did buy some yummy sausages for dinner from that wonderful sausage emporium in the North Laines. Tasty beef with mustard and horseradish variety. Lovely jubbly.

Watched Mastermind and surprised myself again with the amount of general knwoledge i  have up in that b rain of mine.

Listened to that Brother Ah LP "Move Ever Onward" which came in the post the other day. Fine modal spiritual jazz set.
