Brown Paper Bag
Sep. 21st, 2009 10:15 amI sold a CD on Discogs over the weekend and i caanot find the damn item , Evan Parker's "Monoceros". I have a sick feeling that it might have been exchanged at Wax Factor for some other records some weeks ago and not deleted from the Discogs listings. I just hope that is not the case.
It might even turn up whilst looking for something else. It happened to a Praxis CD i sold on the same site.Still, annoying when you can't find something and this means i still have too many CDs for my own good.
This might be the case with the vinyl too. Thinking of the junk i need to get rid off i often try another Brighton shop first, and failing that, go up to MVE on one of my infrequent journeys to London.
I am overdue for a visit to our capital city anyway. L. wants me to get a cheap DJ bag for her brother in the Philippines from a place in the Edgeware Road. That way i can stuff some new records when i visit MVE on the same trip. Put them in a brown paper bag inside the DJ bag,ha ha.
(We know what comes in brown paper bags if you ever visited the Taboo shop opposite my favourite pub)
