Cold Comfort

Damn cold is making me feel just a bit listless today. Sniffling an coughing. It seems to appear everytime the weather changes or basically it when it gets colder. Still, a few beers and a solid whiskey chaser does help.

A lovely hot spicy curry will also help with some mulled wine.

Polymath

So i have been called a polymath in some quarters. I do like to have my fingers in many pies. One of them being Discogs, then the DJ thing and the mystery shopping and the occasional market research job. BUT I WANT MORE.

I was speaking to Steve last week from UpfrontDance.net and he was at  at the Northern Lights with a friend listening to the music i was playing and they want me to do a radio spot on their internet radio site,possibly a Sunday.. So i could add radio jock to my CV. I shall keep you informed of when this will happen.

Since the Tesco Express shop has opened along Queens Road my favourite kebab takeaway is suffering. He told me only the other day that  me may close his shop forever in the next five weeks if trade does not pick up. It looks like wherever Tesco goes local shops suffer.

It won't affect The Evening Star as it always seems to be busy most nights.

I am annoyed that after leaving three or more text messages to John he has failed to reply to any of them. It is the height of ignorance i think. I bet you anything he has contacted Lee already and i introduced Lee to the Hampton. I must contact Chennee at The Hope to find out if i could get some DJ nights there.
