Blunders and Gaffs
Oct. 12th, 2009 03:07 pmI sometimes spout off without thinking. Big mouth fluffs again.
I must apologize to Damien at the Hampton Arms for my unkind and unfounded remarks. I know i have had issues with the H. but it was unprofessional of me to criticize them without talking first. I hope that i can put things right as i need to pick up my records from them as they need the room.II shall eat humble pie when i pick them up later today.Sorry man.
I hope too that i can get further gigs there.
Lorna is off on holiday this Thursday for a month to the Philippines but the outgoing journey is from London City airport which is less easy to get to than Gatwick. return journey is at Heathrow which is easier by far.It Also the fact that her plane from City Airport is at 9.30AM means an early start on Thursday.
Reading a fascinating paperback at the moment."Sophie'e World" by Jostein Gaarder. It has been out for many years but it is the first time i have got round to reading the novel which looks at the history of philosophy in a very readable format. fascinating stuff and thought provoking.
