Still Sales in the Cold
Dec. 19th, 2009 12:57 pmWell so much for climate change and global warming.
Last couple of days it has been freezing and we had snow yesterday. It fell during the night between Thursday and Frday. It was treacherous trying to walk to the post office to post some Discogs sales off.
It is still frozen but at least the main roads are better and it is easier to walk to the shops.
Thursday i was in the Evening Star trying out a few new beers plus favourites such as Critical Mas (7.8. % ABV). There is a new London beer company that the Star are offering on tap. Meantime from Greenwich. I tried their Special Bock (6.5 % ABV). Very yummy strong ale!
I am still amazed that i am getting Discogs orders this close to Xmas, and i have another LP to post today. Talking to ale imbiber friend Mark, who sells books on the internet, muted the fact that the week just before Xmas sales goes down to zilch with him. Well maybe records and CDs go against the grain. Anyway, happy that i am still getting them - sales that is!
