Rant of The Day

Well thank goodness the snow and ice has gone but there is real anger in this city that the council did not do enough to grit the pavements. They have done too little too late (as usual). Then they have the nerve to say there wasn't enough money to do all the hilly pavements where people have fallen over and injured themselves. Excuse me, what about all that money they get from on street car parking fines given out by the traffic wardens. They are making millions from this and surely that money could have been diverted to gritting pavements as well as side roads.

I wonder why we pay council tax sometimes given the level of poor service we get!
