Hello To My Cousin Tim

Had my first email from Tim my cousin in Kent. He is finally on the net and thus we can instantly chat if he uses Facebook as well. I sent him links to this blog and my Discogs account as well.

He has already downloaded stuff from You Tube. He did say what it was but i have forgotten already.

Anyway, Tim, if you are reading this, welcome to the wonderful world of the net but make sure you have good up to date antivirus software as there is some bastard trojans out there.

Celebrity BB Rant of The Day

When you thought we got rid of Big Brother for good up pops the Celebrity version and GC tried to get me to watcxh last night's edition of this boring reality twaddle. I would rather watch the news.read a book or pull teeth than watch that garbage

Anyway , cousin Tim has already looked at my blog site and then asked if it is like twitter but i replied it is more of a journal or a diary which is far better than Facebook or Twitter.

Perhaps i should ask him to start a journal, although i am disappointed that coming42 has not kept up hios LJ account.

Slip

Slipped over on the icy path going down the hill from our place. I was going to the pub for a drink but after that and being helped up by a stranger i decided to get a can from the Spar shop near us. So i am at home just listening to music and reading. Currently playing Iannis Xenakis "N'Shima" (Erato LP) - an LP i picked up for £2 from that new second hand record shop i found in Baker Street. They only opened a week before Christmas.

I still have Discogs postal items to send off but unless these icy pavements are gritted i do not feel like going out much at all.That is the trouble with Brighton - it is too damn hilly and thus the icy pavements are treacherous - more so that the roads. It also looks like we still have another week of this freeze.

Thank gooness GC and I finished off a smoking job before the recent snow and ice.
