Cornish Pastie Night

Last night at the Evening Star was the annual Cornish Pastie Night now in its third year and run by Alex, who use to work behind the bar some while back. There was a choice of two, a steak pastie or a veg pastie. I opted for the former.

Alex had put up the Cornish flag on a wall inside the pub and one on a pole outside.

There was going to be some poetry and music later on but i left before then after having a few strong ales already.

I intend tio do a trip to London tomorrow and see some exhibitions. I might also take some stuff to sell or exchange at MVE in Notting Hill. Undecided as yet.
