You know the old Descartes philosophic dictum cogito ergo sum. Well in cyberspace i suppose you can say it translates to -

I BLOG THEREFORE I AM

It is quite apt for this virtual world we habit.

Gosh, it has been almost a week since i last wrote on here. Been busy i guess.

Sunday i rose early to do a job in Slough for the local council from the same company that i did the Wokingham survey. I took the 7.50 AM  Heathrow coach from Preston Circus and then a local bus to the Langley end of the town to do this Childcare survey. I took two quotas and did both quotas giving me  a three figure sum all told.Mind you, didn't get back to Brighton til 10.30 at night. However, i was very satisfied with doing two quotas as there is still six to go!

During the  week i had a number of mystery shops from a phew Co-op pharmacies , a Next For Mens visit and a  Blue Inc. visit. One of the pharmacy visits was at Mile Oak and it allowed me to pop into Emmaus, whuch turned out to be crapm as there was only  a small pitiful selection of vinyl. The books were just as crap!

In Oxfam today picked up Bertrand Russell "The Problems of Philosophy" , Roland Barthes "Mythologies" and William Burroughs "The  Western Lands" all for 99 pence each.

Tomorrow the annual gas boiler check so will have to stay in, so it will allow me to finish off some reading of existing books.
