Yesterday I popped into the Oxfam shop in the North Laines. Some days back I gave them some old LP’s  and 12” singles I could not sell. One of them was a Four Tops LP “Reach Out” (Motown) as it was a little scratchy, and copies of the LP are easy to find at a few quid. I saw it in there and they had priced the vinyl I gave them (as I know it had no inner sleeve)  at £9.99 !!!

Way too high I thought and I told the staff member that it was!

That is the thing about charity shops. I have a love / hate relationship with them because sometimes they price vinyl way too high in relation to the condition they are in.

I didn’t buy anything as they had no philosophy books  or anything else of interest ,and walked down to Sandpiper Books and bought another philosophy book.

Later on that day, passing Tesco Express in Queens Road around 5pm, I saw our nemesis (that is GC and myself)  doing a post code survey. The  said individual being one notorious Andy Parr, who never returns his work on time!

Today of to Peacehaven to do a Co-op bank mystery shop. Then tonight it is Ville’s birthday party down at the Northern Lights and I am doing a 40 minute set along with six other DJ friends of  his. There will be free food as well!
