If you are referring to 9/11 then it was a day that America realised it cannot continue supporting Israel and that its forays into the middle east will not solve problems at all. It means that terrorism is real and not just virtual reality in the Baudrillian simulacrum mode. Poeple die and are the innocent victims of a sociopolitical religion infused dichotomy between the fundamentalism of the middle east and the imperialism of the capitalist west.
