Simple. The law i would introduce is one that ensures 50% of property in the UK is rental with a high percentage, say 40% , of social housing stock,Successive governments have failed to deliver the amount of social housing required for a good majority of the population, who cannot afford to get on to the very high ovwerpriced property market.
Also all rents should be fair and not so extortionate - a one room so called studio flat in Brighton which is no bigger than a bedsit is going for £500 a month rent!! Ridiculous!
