I Am Back .. Slight Return
Nov. 22nd, 2010 04:18 pmBack in Brighton since Saturday. I was staying in Kent with my cousin.
Saturday night i did my usual Northern Lights gig but did not start til 9.45 pm as i had done an excursion to Eastbourne to do a mystrey shop on my way from Kent. I went to the Crown and Anchor in Marine Parade for Retail Eyes to do a drinks only visit. Had a couple pints of Abbot Ale there.
Arrived at the hostel in Hove and dumped my case and then went back to Brighton to do the gig.
But on the way stopped in at the Evening Star to have a pint of Thornbridge Jaipur (5.9% ABV)
The Northern Lights was very busy and it was difficult to get downsatirs for anything. The only one i am doing in December there is New Years Eve so i need mega money for that one Manu matey!
Ally and Ville were Djing at the Fish Bowl til 3 am so after my gig finished at 2 am i went there as it is just behind th NL in East Street.
Sunday morning had a bit of a hangover - mixed the drinks too much starting with a Gin can drink from the NL and a lage, plus the Rekorderleg mulled cider and a beer at Fish Bowl. A shower and a nice cooked breakfast down at the Weatherspoons pub in George Street cured that quickly.
Today i have been trying to consider my next move but will probably stay til Tuesday and then back to Kent.
Need to post some records and CDs through from sales i have had, but as they are dotted at Rick's pad, some at Georgina's and at Mary Anne's place (where L is resident at the moment) it makes it quite difficult from a logistical point of vew to post things off.
