Another few days of finding good books on my  travels.

Yesterday in Worthing i found two "Introducing.. " books for 30p each -

Jung For Beginners (Icon Books)
Introducing Chaos (Icon Books)

and from another charity shop -

Jacques Ranciere "The Politics of Aesthetics" (Continuum)

and today when i went to Lancing

"Why Can't Elephants jump?" ed. by Mick O'Hare (Profile Books)

Posted five items off today down at the post ofice in London Road. Large queue there but i had a book to read whilst in the queue, so i started the next chapter of Slavoj Zizek's "Violence" (Profile Books).

I am waiting for a book to arrive for somebody else as they asked me to get it and i would sell it to them (at a profit of course).

I had a dispute with some geezer on Paypal which has now been settled, except for the fact that the other party has not cancelled their claim, which has in turn  frozen  transfers of money from Paypal to my bank account. I am getting quite vexed over this and have told Paypal already about my displeasure. They hope to solve it soon. They better do so as i have more money to transfer now!

The Paypal dispute has closed. An amicable outcome means that transfers are back to normal.

I have been using the BBC iPlayer in stand alone mode on the laptop quite alot recently and in desktop mode you can watch programmes live rather than on catch-up. It is all very clever really.
