Maidstone to Faversham
May. 11th, 2011 08:54 pmToday I did a round trip between Maidstone and Faversham. Went to Maidstone first and had a coffee and a Jalapeño Chicken Wrap at Pret in Fremlin Walk, and then perused the Waterstones store. Did not buy any books there but I did get one from the Oxfam charity shop, Thomas Hobbes “Of Man”.
I also picked up a copy of “Talking Book” by Stevie Wonder (Motown LP) for a quid.
Then caught the bus back to Sittingbourne to have lunch at The Billit, a Greene King pub. Scoffed a tasty gammon with fried eggs, peas and chips washed down with a pint of Old Speckled Hen.

Then hopped on the bus again towards Faversham.
In Faversham I sold some books at Past Sentence, bought some shag for the pipe, and a drink in The Leading Light pub.
Then back to Teynham.
