I must admit I haven't been keeping up with my almost daily LJ blogging due to the fact that I have had a t
urmoil of a weekend in Seaford vis-à-vis my friends stressful situation with the new house. This is not the place to discuss the ins and outs of the distress but now things have resolved to a more calmer situation.

Having said that, it was good to get away for awhile, and we did have a superb breakfast at Bills in Lewes on the Saturday, plus we had a few laughs.

She took me to the charity warehouse on the Old Shoreham Road. Picked up four excellent albums and a 12” single for a quid each. I was astounded to get the following L P’s in very good condition -

Focus – Focus III (Polydor)
Man – Back Into The Future (United Artists)
Free – The Free Story (Island)
Joni Mitchell – Hejira (Asylum)

the 12" Ep -

Madlib – Tracks From Shades of Blue,Madlib Invades Blue Note (Blue Note)

These have all gone on the Discogs website for sale.
Picked up a few books cheap from charity shops in Seaford including James Joyce "Dubliners" (Penguin).

There is a very good butchers in the town where I bought some pork and Kentish ale sausages. The punkish tattooed butcher though looks at you with a fierce evil gait , but probably is a very nice guy.Definitely a butchers i will revisit.
