Not Staying In

I was going to the Sussex coast for the weekend but because of the unseasonal hot weather I decided to stay here. Also, at present, I cannot afford it.

The afternoon was spent in the garden. Ali from Electrasy came round to see my cousin and gave him a copy of their latest CD "Wired For Dreaming". I have not heard it yet but will report on it once I have listened.





This morning is more bloody Rugby football so I will be out in the garden for most of the day either reading James Joyce “Dubliners” or the papers.

Teynham Post Office

Teynham post office is under new management. No wonder they had an audit on Wednesday and I had to go to Sittingbourne to post my six items. Thank goodness that miserable cow behind the counter has gone. The new team gives you a beaming smile and do things properly, making sure all the post is behind the counter and not near the front door as it was previously.

Whilst in Sittingbourne on the Wednesday I got stopped to do a taste test of naan bread at a church hall just before the post office. It was a company I use to work for.!!
