Xmas Reading
Dec. 27th, 2011 01:45 pm“Books are the treasured wealth of the world and the fit inheritance of generations and nations” , from Walden. Henry David Thoreau.
My current reading list, since Christmas Day so far , include the first few chapters from the Walden book, and in rotation, the following sedulous reading of the Primo Levi book “The Periodic Table”, Plato “Republic”, chapter seven of the book on symmetry by Peter Woit, and Virginia Wolf “Orlando”.
This morning I started the Alan Partridge book. Very funny , full of that jeu d'esprit that Steve Coogan is known for.
