If luck can be measured scientifically then my cousin Tim would have a luck factor of 10-9 , that is a very small number.

Apart from that, I have made little headway in tackling the fifty book challenge as I am still reading Virginia Woolf's “Orlando”. Mind you the last few days hasn't helped but I hope to get into full reading swing next week, and the week after, where I will take my sojourn on the south coast.

Today was F.A Cup day with the usual shock results and minor scares for the bigger clubs. Brighton were held to a 1-1 draw with non league Wrexham, and Swindon from the Second Division beat Wigan Athletic 2-1. Crawley again prove that they a force to deal with.

C'est la vie.

Furtle

Another cool word that is as great or greater than buffoon and that is -

Furtle

(a.) Usually a sex tourist in the SE Asian region
Look at that furtle with the Thai girl

(b) Move something around a little, to pick at something. Usually in reference to something trivial
A cork that is nearly out of a wine bottle:

"just furtle around with it a bit, it'll come out."

A person picking a scab:

"don't furtle, you'll make it bleed."

© The act of being really slow, like a turtle, and can't remember what they just did, like a fish.

Wow, that was so furtle. You just said you were going to watch tv, but you don't remember.

(d) To cut a hole in a poster / picture / photo etc. usually around the mouth or crotch, and proceed to perform lude acts involving your penis and/or tongue.

“Wow, I got a Christina Aguilera poster and she's so hot!!!”

*late that night, he cuts a hole in the poster furtles it*

(e) An English term form the 18th century.

To draw a picture of a woman and cut a hole for legs, and make legs with your fingers to make it look as if she is line dancing.
Source: Urban Dictionary

For anyone unfamiliar with the word I would tend to use it in contexts such as:

You can't find your keys? Have a furtle around in my bag to see if they've dropped in there by mistake.

To me, it means something similar to 'poke around', either overtly or surreptitiously So if you are rummaging around something then you can use the verb form of it “to furtle”.
