FA Cup Day

Another weekend of sport and it is Fa Cup day with Brighton entertaining Newcastle United. I doubt one minute they would beat the Premiership team but stranger things have happened in the Cup. Here's hoping. I just hope Liverpool beat Man. Utd today.

Wishes Coming True

Sometimes wishes do come true. Today's fourth round FA Cup ties gave me two of them and I have derived much pleasure from them, particularly Liverpool beating Man. Utd. 2-1. Joyous cheer in this household . Even better, Brighton beat Newcastle United 1-0 to an unfortunate (or fortunate) own goal. They sally forth to the next round, and we will know who their opponents are tomorrow in the draw.
