A classic from 1972, Jackie Moore "Time", and on the album "Sweet Charlie Babe" (Atlantic 1973), which also features a Northern Soul favourite "Both Ends Against The Middle". She also covered "Love Won't Make Me Wait" , digged out by my brother in a net forage of cover versions of this song.

It is funny how one investigation spins off into another. From an initial enquiry about a cover version of a song from 1975 has expanded into my brother foraging the net for other versions.

Versions of soul songs can be wide and variable. One only has to think of the Motown machine which churned out hit after hit , and did in house covers of songs written by the house team. Even Norman Whiitfield used The Undisputed Truth as an experimental soundboard before the definitive version by The Temptations.

In a similar mode, I was searching for books on the TV series The Big Bang Theory and I found one on Play, but after further digging found three more. However, only two of these seem remotely interesting. Strangely enough, none of the two I fancy appears on the Play site.

I decided to lay in bed for awhile this morning reading a book on Albert Einstein. It felt too cold getting up early , and even cousin stayed under the sheets till nine. Roll on warmer clime, and throw away these winter blues!

Man, somebody should sort this out and save all these classic 70's vinyl. I noticed a box of old Stax LP's for a starter!
