An unbelievable story. It's incredible to think how deep the devotion to Cuba and Fidel ran that even after the horrible tortures she endured, it could not be broken. Shocking and brutal, this story of survival is one that stays with you for a very long time after you close that back cover.
As for Haspiel's artwork and storytelling craft, I can't ever find any flaws to it. An excellent graphic novel and the nibth book in my challenge which i finished today whilst in Sittingbourne.

The Sittingbourne Recurrence
Feb. 24th, 2012 11:41 pmOnce again I did the usual fortnightly run to Sittingbourne. Popped into the library and took some books out on loan. Basically, a mix of science books and graphic novels. Welcome to geeksville!
Picked up another charity sourced paperback , Philip Sington “The Einstein Girl” (Vintage) for 75p which the Times called it a “stylish thriller”.
I was hunting for more good science fiction paperbacks but found none. Particularly the novels of Harlan Ellison or Greg Bear but when I get back to doing my visits I may be more lucky. I use to read these way back in the seventies. It seems that fantasy novels have taken over the shelf space of most bookshops and charity shops.
