A journey towards the Medway towns today. Beforehand I visited Gravesend to do one visit and picked up four paperbacks from a charity shop for £1.50. At that price I could not resist. Bought the following -

“The Essential Spike Milligan” (Harper Perennial)
Sebastian Faulks “Charlotte Gray” (Vintage)
C.M. Palov “The Templar's Code” (Penguin)
Frank Mc.Court "Angela's Ashes" (Flamingo)

Then in Chatham I purchased a book from The Works , an Insight Guide to The Baltic States, for a quid. In Rochester some quality pipe tobacco, Old Dublin, another flavour in a tin.

Afterwards, i popped into Rainham to see if that record emporium still had the free albums outside the shop. They did , so i picked up five for free.

David Bowie "Changesbowie" (RCA 2xLP)
Nina Simone "To Love Somebody" (RCA)
Hall & Oates "Rock n' Soul Part One" (RCA)
Van McCoy "Disco Baby " (Avco)
Joyce Sims "Come Into My Life" (London)

Finally, in Sittingbourne i picked up some bird seed for the garden visitors.
