Garden of Delights
Apr. 30th, 2012 07:10 pmA lovely sunny warm afternoon spent in the garden reading the newspaper and a few chapters form the Bruce Chatwin book.
This morning when I went to get some items from the Co-op I was stopped by a lady in the street doing market research for the Co-op (from Quadrangle Fieldworks). I also noticed earlier that somebody tried to use the ATM and got their card retained by the useless machine.
I for one no longer trust it and rather do the short trip to Faversham , which I did anyway, and picked up some pipe shag as well as getting salad stuff for lunch today.
I finally got round to posting that painting I sold on Ebay which I purchased from that Dover visit a few months back. Very disappointed about my auction over the weekend , but hey, there was only ten items anyway. This time round, as it was free auction listings, I have transferred all the books from Play to Ebay. So hopefully a better weekend sales wise.
I have more charity shop visits for May, this time Ashford, Birchington, Herne Bay, Rochester and first time ever , Sittingbourne. The latter I will do Wednesday.
Finally from Alan Ivory's Facebook page this pub sign made me laugh out loud.
