Back in the garden of England, or so they say. Arrived back in Teynham at 8.40pm as I alighted the train from Chatham. Last night, my cousin, Spot got a text from Phil to say that there was a bottle of wine opened for him and us. So after 10.30 pm we perambulate towards the pub. I do not remember what time we got back, but i do know i woke up with a muzzy head this morning.

Unfortunately I am stuck in The Office, till at least 12.30 am, but then I have a visit to Canterbury to do the other coffee machine assessment scenario. I will probably leave the Cineworld visit till Saturday as it is the start of the Corporate Olympics, which is much more of a reason to be out and about. What a fucking waste of money and time the Olympics is, and sponsored by corporate America. We might just as well call it the Mc.Olympics or Cola Olympics.  It is farcical.

I will have to shut my eyes and ears to it. I just hope the weather stays fine for me during this fraught period.

Yesterday when I travelled back I went via Forest Row as GC had a visit to do in that village. Whilst waiting for the bus I found a wine shop and they had bottles of Brugse Zot , the brown version, so I bought one and drunk it. A fine 7.5 % Belgian ale which I first tried at the Evening Star pub.

I had a bit of a wait for my bus at Tunbridge Wells and thus got a Hoegaarden wheat beer (5.% ABV) from Oddbins and at the King William IV pub in Pembury had two pints of Summer Lightning (5.0 % ABV).

I discovered some more pics I took over the weekend, including another of the dog Rags and at the beer festival.

Today after my stint at The Office, and getting some provisions in, such as milk, spread, mushrooms and garlic, I visited Canterbury and bought a pen in Fenwicks as well as doing a mystery shop.

Next Thursday I will back in Tunbridge Wells to do a Wetherspoons visit and thus will be able to peruse the books at Halls. Hopefully I will have more time to saunter around the bookshop and other places in the town.
